What makes a great team?
When things simply work better together than alone.
That’s exactly how we see it at malibie. Behind our two hotels – the traditional Hotel zur Pfeffermühle and the modern Hotel Arlmont – you won’t just find structures or processes. You’ll find people. Personalities. And a spirit of togetherness that really matters.
Different. United. Real.
A strong team doesn’t need to march in perfect step. It takes many puzzle pieces to create the bigger picture. That’s why we look for people who don’t have to bend themselves to fit in, but who want to bring their own strengths to the table. Whether it’s years of experience or fresh curiosity as a career changer – what counts for us is this: you want to be a host. And you’re ready to roll up your sleeves.
Who we are
We are Lisa and Markus Stemberger, running our two hotels in St. Anton am Arlberg together with our children, Benedikt and Leonie. Each of our houses has its own character, but they’re connected under one name: the malibie collection – a combination of our initials. Both hotels are unique, yet they share the same atmosphere: the moment you walk in, you should feel genuinely welcome. That goes for our guests just as much as for our team.
Why we do what we do
As proud members of Quality Hosts Arlberg, we see ourselves as part of more than just a quality alliance – it’s a community of values that mirrors our own philosophy. We love what we have. St. Anton is our home. And we want to ensure it stays a place worth living – for generations to come. That’s why we don’t just create favorite places for our guests, but also reliable, meaningful workplaces for our employees. Sustainability in tourism and a future-oriented way of working as a team are at the heart of what we do.

And the extra that really matters? Team spirit.
