I live between two worlds.
One smells of clay, colour, fire, and music – my studio, my retreat, my flow.

The other smells of coffee, wood, and fresh mountain air – Hotel Lux Alpinae, where people arrive, unwind, and feel at home.
Both worlds are part of me. And life happens right in between.

Backstage at Lux Alpinae

Life pulses through the hotel.
People from all over the world come here to experience the mountains, to clear their minds, or simply to enjoy the present moment.
I love that energy – the unplanned, the genuine, the little chaos of everyday life.

Lux Alpinae is not a sleek design hotel. It has soul, character, and a dash of courage.
And that’s exactly what I get to make visible.
I shape the hotel from the inside out – the ceramics, the lamps, the paintings, the decorations.
Every piece tells its own story.
A plate, a vase, a light – everything carries a little of the energy that emerges during its creation.
 

Handmade with Heart

In my studio, silence takes over.
I feel the clay, hear the hum of the potter’s wheel – perhaps there’s music, perhaps only my breath.
I love that moment when something takes shape that was once only an idea.
No mug is ever the same as another – and that’s exactly the point!

When guests sip their morning coffee from my ceramics or watch the glow of my lamps in the evening, I know:
Art can be part of everyday life.
Not distant or lofty, but right there – on the breakfast table, in conversation, in the moment.

Between Potter’s Wheel and the Scent of Breakfast

My day unfolds somewhere between the studio and the hotel.
Sometimes I’m shaping plates and cups in the morning before the first guests arrive for breakfast.
Then it’s time to decorate, to welcome, to laugh, to talk.
Art and hospitality blend together – both need feeling, devotion, and a love for detail.

Clay, Light, Life

I need both: the earthy and the airy, the creating and the connecting.
Clay brings me calm; the hotel brings me to life.
For me, Lux Alpinae is more than just a place – it’s a living artwork that grows, breathes, and changes, just like I do.

A place where nothing has to be perfect, yet everything is real.
A place for kindred spirits, free souls, and all those who prefer to feel beauty rather than merely see it.
